HUNGARIAN NATIONAL DAY

A lot of Hungarians are expected for this celebration, even though the actual National Day was several days earlier. The event itself is in the Hungarian language, though the singing - by soloists from the Hungarian State Opera House, and the piano music- by András Déri, would be appreciated by all.

Composers featured in this evening's performance include Bartók, Erkel and Kodály. The guest speaker will be István Bakos, a member of the "World Federation of Hungarians." Admission Ł3. Location: Cultural Centre of the Swedish Lutheran Church, 6 Harcourt Road, London W1.
