CELEBRATE MEXICO DAY (AND GERMAN BIRTHDAY!) IN FULHAM PUB

Other than being the national day of Mexico, today is also Karl Marx's birthday. Did you know Marx, from Germany, settled for good in London in 1849, just after he turned 30? Had he still been alive, he might have headed to Fulham to party the night away with a much younger crowd at "The Fulham Tup" - a lively pub near Chelsea's trendy area called "The Beach."

On offer tonight are Jose Cuervo Gold and Bitter Lemon for £2 and vodka shots for £1. Location: The Fulham Tup Pub, 268 Fulham Road, SW10. Nearest tube stations: Earl's Court (Piccadilly and District lines) and Fulham (District line).
