It is election day here in the U.K. we all know - so, before or after voting, why not go back over half a century and see how another part of Europe was then. Spanish beauty Penélope Cruz stars alongside Briton John Hurt in the 140-minute "Captain Corelli's Mandolin."
 

 

It is a extremely watchable film, full of beautiful scenery even though there is a background of war and it can seem a bit drawn out in places. It is the last evening that the film is being shown, on its current release, at this luxurious and large 713-seater cinema. Admission: £7. Location: Chelsea Cinema, 206 King's Road, SW3.
