July 13 2001, Friday, 6.45pm and 8.45pmFILM DIRECTORS FROM DENMARK COVER DISTINCT TOPICS OF CARE AND HORROR IN RIVERSIDE DOUBLE-BILLDid you know that today is Harrison
Ford's birthday? Maybe you did, but we doubt whether you knew that earlier this
week the Chicago-born actor flew his helicopter above an American forest and
rescued a boy scout who had been "lost" overnight - a true story of care and
horror! Now, let us turn our attention to other actors in other films: one in
English and another in Danish! 'How to enjoy London' subscribers have shown that
they like films (more so in English, than in other languages) and prefer to go
to events after 6pm, so this evening we are inviting you to the Riverside
Studios.
The first film is entitled "Mifune" (1998, 98 mins) and is in Danish with English sub-titles. It is followed by "The King is Alive" (2000, 110 mins). The directors are Soren Krogh-Jacobson and Kristian Lerring respectively. Only £5.50 (£4.50 for students) to see both films. Reservations can be made by ringing the box office on 020 8237 1111. Location: Riverside Studios, Crisp Road, W6. Nearest tube station: Hammersmith (Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City lines).
