Any ideas what a bátaichean-iasgaich is? Well, it means fishing boat, and there are sure to be several of these in the films you will see this evening. Yes, you will have a great opportunity to see a documentary double-bill with Robert Flaherty's "Man of Aran" (75 mins) and George Storey's "The making of 'The Man of Aran'" (45 mins).

They are documentaries with, 'Breathtaking scenery of Ireland' according to the brochure we picked up from Hammersmith's Irish Centre. You can see them both for only £5. Location: Irish Centre, Blacks Road, W6. Nearest tube station: Hammersmith (Piccadilly, District, Hammersmith & City lines).
