"CASTLES OF WALES": THEME OF SHORT LECTURE IN KENSINGTON MUSEUM

The friendly receptionist informed us that the lecture entitled, "Towers of Power", would be about the castles of Wales and their role in, "13th century defensive architecture in Europe." Should be interesting, especially for those that have visited some of the Welsh castles with Peter Hill. Your host for this evening is Lindsay Evans, a university lecturer.

So, quite literally, it is like going back to university in this hall that seats 320. Admission: £8, £5 for students. Tickets are available, in advance, by phoning 020 7942 2209. Or you can purchase them on the day, from 6.30pm. Location: Victoria & Albert Museum, Crowell Road, SW7. Nearest tube station: South Kensington (Piccadilly, District and Circle lines).
