ESTONIAN OPERA, WITH COMEDY AND MUSIC, AT UKRAINIAN VENUE IN HOLLAND PARK

'Cox and Box' is the name of the "Eestikeelne Ooper" (Estonian opera) that will be performed, in the Estonian language, near Holland Park. It is a comedy musical composed by Sir Arthur Sullivan, who most will know as being part of the infamous duo, Gilbert & Sullivan. Tonight's production is by Mart Sander, renowned in Estonia as a theatrical producer and novelist. The opera, as the name suggests, is about two people living together in the same room, but not realising it.
 

The end results are comical and entertaining, though not necessarily for the landlord! Tickets are £7 and are available on the door, though it is suggested you reserve/get your ticket in advance from London Estonian Society (LES), Town House, Cottered, Herts, SG9 9PZ.
