(1997, 110 mins) is probably director's Walter Salles' best known film. It is
certainly one of Brazil's most popular, especially in this country. It is all
about a woman and orphan on a journey.
The second film of this double-bill is "Me You Them" (2000, 102 mins). Directed by Andrucha Waddington, it is a comedy about a pregnant wife-to-be and several men, who turn out to be disappointments. Both in Portuguese, with English subtitles. Only £5.50 (£4.50 for students) to see both films. Reservations can be made by ringing the box office on 020 8237 1111.
