dancing to live Scottish music. You will be able to join in with the dances,
which will be taught, or you can just watch the dancers enjoying themselves. One
of the teachers - a retired stipendiary magistrate, will be wearing a kilt but
you can wear anything you like! So, do come along... with friends, enjoy
yourself and have fun. A lot of people are expected, as all BRONZE subscribers
to 'How to enjoy London' are being invited to come along.
Complimentary refreshments, including Scottish haggis and Scotch whisky, will be served at the interval during which poetry will be recited. This is an excellent chance to learn popular reels and folk dancing to the sound of a piper playing the bagpipes. Finishes 10.30pm - then you can join everyone in the upstairs bar for chat and relaxation. Address: basement of International Student House (ISH) at 229 Great Portland Street, W1.
