February 3 2002, Sunday, 7pmWIDELY-TRAVELLED CHOIR PERFORMS BERLIOZ ALONGSIDE PIANO DUET, FLUTES AND HARPThe Malcolm Sargent Festival Choir will perform, "The Childhood of Christ" (Berlioz - Op 25) to - hopefully, a packed crowd inside a Kensington Church. The choir has performed in many countries around the world, including Australia, Singapore, Sweden and most recently, Venice in Italy.
This evening's concert, conducted by Charles Farncombe, will also include performances by children from the Soho Parish School as well as a piano duet (Caroline Dowdle and Sophia Rahman). Tickets range from £5 to £15. Location: St Mary Abbots Church. Kensington High Street, London, W8. Nearest tube station: High Street Kensington (Circle and District lines).
