April 27 2002, Saturday, 11am-4pmBULGARIAN ARTIST, PLAMEN KAPITANSKI'S "INFINITE REALITY" EXHIBITION OF OILS MANIFESTS ITSELF AS TRUE ESSENTIALS FOR PRIVATE COLLECTIONS IN AUSTRIA, CANADA, FRANCE, GERMANY, HOLLAND AND U.S.This is the last day to see Plamen
Kapitanski's "Infinite Reality Exhibition" - an exhibition of figurative and
abstract art matched with a wide range and fusion of brilliant colours.
Kapitanski, in his late thirties, is an artist with flair and a tremendous swirl
of talent. One of his pictures that reflects this, is the one placed in the
window of the gallery. It is titled "Infinite Reality", and is like a very
colourful and creative dream sequence. We like the artist's pictures where there
is a predominance of blues, purples and mauves. Some of the art on display
though - like "Mirror", "The road" and "Mediterranean nymph" - were brighter,
lighter and airier, so there is something for all palates and tastes.
Kapitanski has had one man shows
throughout Europe... in Austria, Bulgaria, England, Italy and Germany. One
person, we spoke to, hinted to us that German collectors would find his works
appealing, as these collectors would like the expressionist nature many of
Kapitanski's works have. Prices for the artist's 47 works on show range from
several at £1,500 to the single one - and, no doubt, star-attraction "Infinite
Reality" (180cm x 130cm), at £17,000. Be sure, not to miss it! Location: The
Gallery in Cork Street, 28 Cork Street, London, W1. Tube station: Green Park
(Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines).
