April 19 2002, Friday, 10am-10pm (talk: 7pm-7.45pm)LAST DAY TO SEE "PARIS CAPITAL OF THE ARTS 1900-1968" EXHIBITION WITH WORKS BY ARTISTS FROM ROMANIA, SWITZERLAND AND MANY OTHER COUNTRIES - PLUS TALK AND FREE JAZZ MUSIC, AT ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTSFridays mean late-night viewing at
the Piccadilly-based Royal Academy of Arts. It is also the last day to see the
current art exhibition, which means a chance to see over 280 paintings and
sculptures by some 150 artists. Included are works by Duchamp, Leger, Matisse
and Picasso.
The venue also has a cafe, restaurant and shop. Admission: £9 (concessions/NUS cardholders: £8/£6). Location: Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, W1. Tube station: Piccadilly (Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines).
