April 19 2002, Friday, 10am-6pmMAYFAIR-BASED GALLERY'S ART EXHIBITION CAPTURES THE ESSENCE OF GREECE THANKS TO SCOTTISH ARTIST, CHRIS BUSHE'S OILS: FULL OF COLOUR, DEPTH AND RICHNESSToday is one of the last days to see
Chris Bushe's exhibition of oils that centre on Greece and the Aegean Sea. If
you want to go tomorrow, which is the exhibition's last day, you will have to
make an appointment with the gallery - telephone 020 7399 9999. Bushe visited
Greece some ten years ago and ever since then you can imagine his mind has been
ticking over with early morning scenes on Greek beaches to Aegean sunsets.
So much so, that the best scenes have
been encapsulated with colourful and bright oils on board and occasional oil on
linen. One of our favourites is "Night and Day", a sunset with what looks like a
darkened peninsula in the distance. Prices range from £450 to £3,200. E-mail...
(see website) for more information, if required. Location: Panter & Hall
Gallery, 9 Shepherd Market, London, W1. Tube station: Green Park (Jubilee,
Piccadilly and Victoria lines).
