- at the "Great Performers Spring 2002" season of concerts, at the Barbican - is
your chance to hear the National Symphony Orchestra, from the U.S. capital city,
play some the pieces these two composers wrote, namely Dvořák's "Symphony No. 9
(New World) and Rachmaninov's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini."
Alongside these, you will also hear Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" and Corigliano's "The Mannheim Rocket." Tickets range in price from £6 to £25. Location: Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London, EC2. Tube station: Barbican (Circle, Hammersmith & City lines).
