double-bill is Frieda Liappa's "Enas Isichol Thanatos" which translates as, "A
Quiet Death" (1986, 88 mins). It is an award-winning film - having won awards
from Greece and Spain - about the journey made by a writer. The second film, is
the earlier and longer, "I Timi tis Agapis" which translates as, "The Price of
Love" (1984, 110 mins) and is directed by Tonia Marketaki.
Marketaki's film is basically a love story, based in Corfu. Both in Greek, with English subtitles. Only £5.50 (£4.50 for students) to see both films.
