"Globetrotting" talks that cover South America and the Middle East will take
place this afternoon. The first talk, " Revealing the Maya World " will look at
Mayas. It will be delivered by established "Rough Guide" author, Peter
Eltringham. Following this will be Mary Russell, who will talk give a talk about
her travels in Iraq and Syria.
Attendees will be able to take part in the discussions during the 30-minute interval and - maybe afterwards - at a "watering hole" (i.e. cafe or pub) nearby. Do not miss the knowledge these two authors have to share. Admission £4. Location: Globetrotters Club, Church of Scotland, Crown Court (off Russell Street), London, WC2.
