country is held in the Public Records Office. This includes the correspondence
sent - and received, by King Henry and his six wives. This evening is your
chance to discover not only what they said about one another but a whole lot
more. For example just what was written in Catherine Howard's letter that must
have made the king very annoyed.
Yes, the well-known historian and broadcaster, Dr David Starkey, will give a revealing lecture entitled, "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" where you will be able to see some of the love letters at first hand.
