soprano, Maria Fontosh, in recital for the first time in England. Maria plans to
sing songs and arias by Charles Gounod (France), Franz Haydn (Austria), Wolfgang
Mozart (Austrian), Sergei Rachmaninov (Russia), Gioacchino Rossini (Italy) and
Pyotr Tchaikovsky (Russia). Vicenzo Scalera will provide piano accompaniment for
this evening's concert, part of the Rosenblatt Recital Series.
Rosenblatt is a firm of solicitors in the EC4 postal district of London. In the past they have sponsored events that have featured singers such as Jose Cura, Juan Diego Florez and Giuseppe Sabbatini.
