MATISSE AND PICASSO: ARTISTS FROM FRANCE AND SPAIN RESPECTIVELY, ON DISPLAY FOR FINAL WEEKEND AT TATE MODERN GALLERY

Since the middle of May the Tate Modern has been hosting a very popular art exhibition. It is the "Matisse Picasso" exhibition and it comes to an end this weekend. There are numerous paintings by both artists, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, to see as well as some sculptures. Included are Matisse's "Bowl of Oranges" (1916) and "Red Interior: Still Life on a Blue Table" (1947) plus Picasso's "Still Life with Pitcher and Apples" (1919) and "The Studio at La Californie" (1955).
