Modern has been hosting a very popular art exhibition. It is the "Matisse
Picasso" exhibition and it comes to an end this weekend. There are numerous
paintings by both artists, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, to see as well as
some sculptures. Included are Matisse's "Bowl of Oranges" (1916) and "Red
Interior: Still Life on a Blue Table" (1947) plus Picasso's "Still Life with
Pitcher and Apples" (1919) and "The Studio at La Californie" (1955).
It is recommended that you reserve your time of admission - at most times today, through the night and tomorrow - by telephoning 0870 166 8283 as soon as possible.
