Today is the second day of the
three-day "Viva España" exhibition that celebrates Spanish property. The Daily
Telegraph newspaper is sponsoring the event this year. We paid a visit to the first day of
the event this year, and managed to catch the Fashion Catwalk Show (on three times a day:
11am, 1.10pm, 3.25pm approx) and the Equestrian Theatre (on three times a day: 6.10pm,
2.25pm, 4.30pm approx). We noticed that s lot of the exhibitors within the large expanse
of Olympia's Grand Hall concentrate on Spanish properties. Which is no surprise, as the
event organisers also run the "Homes Overseas" exhibitions so, if you are
interested, avail yourself of the series of seminars that will be taking place, giving
legal advice, etc. to business and residential property purchasers.
There are more than enough foods and wines for
everybody to taste, with various exhibitors catering to all tastes. You will even be able
to book your next holiday - that is, if you plan to visit Spain. And, as would be
expected, there will be courses on offer for Catalan and Spanish language-learners.
Admission: £12, or £10 if you buy in advance from 0870 121 1227 (free for children under
16, if accompanied by an adult). Location: Grand Hall, Olympia Exhibition Centre,
Hammersmith Road, London, W14. Nearest tube station: Kensington Olympia (District line).
