GREAT DEBATE ON DEATH OF DRAWING GIVEN BY WATERCOLOUR ARTISTS GLUCK, NEWLAND & PUTMAN AT BANKSIDE GALLERY

At the Bankside Gallery - located adjacent to Tate Modern, there is currently a spring exhibition organised by the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS). It was opened by Tony Benn, three weeks earlier and will continue through to Easter Monday. But this evening, three members of the Society - David Gluck, Paul Newland and Salliann Putnam - are to have what is being billed as "The Great Debate", entitled "Drawing is dead...?"

Go along, join the proceedings and find out more about a topic, which is close to the heart of all artists. Go along earlier in the day if you want to see the Society's 337th exhibition of watercolours. Admission: £3.50. Telephone 020 7928 7521 for more information, if required. Location: Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London, SE1. Tube station: Blackfriars (Circle & District lines). Buses: 45, 63, 149, 172, D1 & RV1.
