This month is "Museum and Galleries Month Weekend", as well as a special French promotion called "Printemps des Musées." What this means to you, today, is that you get a chance to see two slide shows: "French Connections: The Duc d'Orleans in Twickenham" (presented by local historian Dr. T.H.R. Cashmore) and "French Collections: Through the Eyes of 19th Century English Collectors" (presented by art historian, Catherine Parry Wingfield).
The refreshments on offer come in the shape of a prepared brunch of filled croissant, pastry, baguette, fruit and glass of bucks fizz.
