July 18 2003, Friday, 6.15pm-11pm (meeting 6pm-6.15pm)ANOTHER VISIT - WITH ENGLISH-LANGUAGE STUDENTS - TO POPULAR IRISH PUB, NEAR PUTNEY BRIDGEJoin many hteL subscribers for a drink to celebrate the beginning of another holiday season... that is, if you are a school pupil/teacher (or if you have children at school). The plan is to go for several drinks (no need to drink alcohol!) at O'Neill's - an Irish pub located on the northern side of Putney Bridge. We will join a number of English-language students, studying at a school nearby, for the evening and much of the night.
So there will be something for everyone: a wonderful chance to learn English or an equally good chance to practise another language with native speakers. Meet your guide (holding several hteL leaflets) at the entrance to Putney Bridge tube station at 6pm-6.15pm sharp. Location of pub, for latecomers: O'Neill's Pub, Fulham High Street (near the junction of New King's Road), London, SW6. Tube station: Putney Bridge (District line).
