November 1 2003, Saturday, 9am-4.45pmLAST DAY OF SARAH LUCAS' EXHIBITION, "PAINTINGS FROM THE SHED" IN PUTNEY LIBRARY, WHICH FEATURES SIXTEEN OIL PAINTINGSFormer Byam Shaw Scool of Art student, the Essex-born Sue Lucas has been exhibiting her oils in Putney Library since the middle of October. Today marks the last day for visitors to see it. Essentially is is a collection of abstract works. Our favourites, for the colours used, are "Action Man" - an abstract figure on right with a variety of colours on the left of the picture and "Amanda" with shades of dark red, green and black.
Prices are £300 and £150 respectively, which is the price range for the works that are on sale. Note that one, titled "Worship" is already part of a private collection and several are not for sale.
