November 19 2003, Wednesday, 7.30pmPIANIST, ALBERTO PORTUGHEIS - FROM ARGENTINA, PERFORMS TWO OF AUSTRIAN COMPOSER, SCHUBERT'S SONATAS IN 175TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT OF CLASSICAL MUSICSome of you will be familiar with Alberto Portugheis, the Argentinian-born pianist whose piano playing can be heard on several CDs that celebrate works by composers such as Ginastera and Rossini. Well, this evening you have a chance to hear his talents, playing live, as he turns his talents to two of Franz Schubert's Sonatas in the composer's 175th Anniversary Concert.
This evening's programme is "Sonata in D
major D850" and "Sonata in B flat major D960" - each composed of several
movements. There will be an interval between both Sonatas. Admission: £10 (concessions:
