December 2 2003, Tuesday, 7.45pm for 9pmAUSTRALIAN COMEDIAN, SARAH KENDALL PLUS OTHER COMEDIANS, ON STAGE AT MONTHLY SESSION OF CAFÉ'S COMEDY CLUBOn the first Tuesday of each month, the Troubadour Café organises a comedy show in the café. This evening it is the turn of Lee Mack, Marek Larwood and - in her twenties and from Australia, Sarah Kendall. It has been only two months since another Australian comedian, Mike Wilmot, was on the same stage. Will the jokes be similar? Who knows! But, the accents of the Australians will probably be similar, though not too noticeable in an area of London that boasts most Aussies than the Australian Outback.
The suggestion, therefore, is to get along
early, get yourself a good seat and purchase several coffees, or pints of that "amber
nectar!" Then, you too, will be able to appreciate which comedians will be telling
possible rugby jokes, be they Australian or other. Admission: £6 (concessions: £5) on
the door. Location: The Troubadour, 265 Old Brompton Road, London, SW5. Tube station:
Earl's Court (District & Piccadilly lines).
