JOIN BOURNE, BUTTERFIELD & NEWTON FOR CHRISTMAS GALA CONCERT - WITH CAROLS, ORCHESTRA & MUSIC - AT CHURCH NEAR TRAFALGAR SQUARE

Adrian Butterfield will lead the Festive Orchestra of London though a programme of Christmas carols and music. In addition to this violinist, also taking part will be the soprano, Faye Newton and the mezzo soprano, Frances Bourne. This evening's programme promises to be special - concert-goers can expect to hear Corelli's "Christmas Concerto" as well as two of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" (namely, Autumn and Summer). There will also be excerpts from Handel's "Messiah" and two of Bach's works: "Christmas Oratorio" and "Mass in B Minor."

As for the carols, everybody present will be invited to join in with the singing which ought to put everyone in the Christmas mood… if a string of college/school/office parties haven not already done so! Admission by ticket (which can be bought over the web): £6 and £11. Telephone 020 7766 1100 for recorded information, if required. Location: St Martins-in-the-Fields Church, located at one of the corners of Trafalgar Square. London, WC2. Tube station: Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines).
