December 31 2003, Wednesday, 7pm-3amSEE IN NEW YEAR AT DOME'S "WINTER WONDERLAND" THEME PARK WITH CIRCUS, FUNFAIR, ICE-SKATING, GERMAN MARKET PLUS PLENTY OF OTHER SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIESSince the first Saturday of December people have been flocking to The Dome to, what has temporarily become, a winter theme park (£10) with circus (£6), funfair, ice-skating (£6), German market and plenty of other shopping opportunities. Today is the last day of the theme park's current installation so if you have not yet been, it might be an idea to get along for the event's big build-up... New Year's Eve. With free tubes and, we hear, tube-strikes being called off the actual process of getting there and back home should be a doddle!
Admission for days - when it is open, BEFORE
today is £10 (free, if you are under 13 or over 59), though today, with later opening and
closing times, the admission price is probably higher. Note that this is for admission to
the Dome area, but several of the attractions have their own prices of
admission/participation. All in all, it sounds like a good change from Trafalgar Square or
your own/someone else's living room/party! Telephone 020 8331 4250 for more information,
if required. Address: The Dome, North Greenwich. Tube station: North Greenwich (Jubilee
Line).
