January 17 2004, Saturday, 7.45pmLAST DAY TO ENJOY CONTEMPORARY DANCE FROM BURKINA FASO, MADAGASCAR & SOUTH AFRICA AT BARBICAN'S "BITE" EVENTToday is your last chance to enjoy dancing from Burkina Faso, Madagascar and South Africa in a BITE '04 (Barbican International Theatre Events) event called "Moving Africa" which is being held at the Barbican. The three dance groups taking part in this celebration of African contemporary dance are: Vincent Mantsoe's "Barena (Chiefs);" Salia ni Seydou's "Figninto (The Torn Eye)" and Company Rary's "Mpirahalahy Mianala (Several Form One)." It is a must attend event for all lovers of dance and/or African culture, so be sure to get along!
