DO YOU DANCE? WELL…, WHETHER YOU DO, OR NOT, MODERN JIVE DANCE - WITH "JIVE 4 FUN" DANCE CLASS & PARTY – COULD BE THE BIG 2004 EVENT FOR YOU
The opening night for what is to become a regular, Thursday night event in London's Docklands, was last week. This is the second week for the event, which we presume will be full of enthusiastic dancers looking to jive the night away. An extract of the information, we were recently sent, goes like this, 'Want to meet people? Loose weight in a fun way? or learn a new hobby? Come to our Modern Jive Dance events with lessons... Great Fun, Good exercises, Make friends, Easy to learn, No need to bring a partner.'
The evening begins with lessons, for all
levels, at 7.30pm and seems to turn into a, "freestyle dance and jive party" at
around 9pm. Admission: £7 (concessions: £5). Sounds like fun! Location: Docklands
Sailing & Watersports Centre, 235a Westferry Rood, Millwall Dock, Isle of Dogs,
London, E14. Buses: D3 or D7. Directions: Get the Jubilee tube line to Canary Wharf, then
you can choose whether to go by Docklands Light Railway/bus towards Island Gardens.
