RUSSIAN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA OF LONDON PLAY CLASSICAL MUSIC BY BULGARIAN & GERMAN COMPOSERS - INCLUDING WORLD PREMIERE - AT ST. JOHN'S

Julian Gallant conducts the Russian Chamber Orchestra of London in a classical music concert which will feature musicians Ekaterina Apekishova (piano), Boris Brovtsyn (violin) and Maxim Rysanov (viola). The pieces to be played include: German, Georg Handel's "Concerto Grosso in D Major Op.12 No.5;" German, Felix Mendelssohn's, "Concerto for Violin and Piano in D minor;" Bulgarian, Dobrinka Tabakova's, "Concerto for Viola and Orchestra" (world premiere) and another German, Johann Sebastian Bach's "Brandenberg Concerto No.3 in G major." We also hear that - after the concert, an international group of concert-goers plan to visit a pub in Dean Bradley Street for a drink. It is called "Marquis of Granby" and will be a good chance to share your thoughts and impressions with others of what promises to be a well-played and wonderful selection of international classical music, both new and old.
