According to a
recently-received press release, ‘Remember being 16? On their first day of post
exam freedom, Nat doesn’t understand what he feels, Stevo can’t move on and
Karen wants to mark the day. Their only constant, a block of flats, reminds them
of the danger and independence ahead.’ Sounds interesting, especially when the
play is on at a theatre located in an area of London where there are many
high-rise blocks of flats, collectively known as the World’s End Estate. Maybe
have a drink in the theatre’s ground-floor bar before moving on to visit the
famous World’s End Distillery located close by, at 459 King’s Road! The latter
dates back many years and some say back to the time of King Henry VIII.
