PIANIST, PETER DONOHOE, JOINS RUSSIAN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA OF LONDON FOR QEH CONCERT OF MUSIC, COMPOSED BY BEETHOVEN, SCHUMANN & SHOSTAKOVICH
Julian Gallant once again conducts the Russian Chamber Orchestra of London in a classical music concert which, on this occasion, will feature Peter Donohoe (piano). The orchestra, we discovered, has been performing since January 1998. The pieces to be played this evening include: Beethoven's "Egmont Overture;" Schumann's, "Piano Concerto in A minor;" and Shostakovich's, "Hamlet Suite."
