May 15 2004, Saturday, 10am-1pmLAST DAY TO SEE SOCIETY OF PORTRAIT SCULPTORS' ANNUAL "FACE" EXHIBITION, FULL OF PORTRAIT SCULPTURES - BOTH LARGE & SMALL - INCLUDING WORKS BY CZECH SCULPTOR, SEDLECKA & WEI-SHAN, SCULPTOR FROM CHINAToday is the last day to see the Society of Portrait Sculptors' "Face 2004" exhibition, currently taking place and soon to end in Cork Street. Czech sculptor, Irena Sedlecka, has two works on show, one of which is a large full-body-size bronze sculpture, "Beau Brumel" (Not For Sale) which literally greets you as you enter the large gallery. From the other side of the world is Chinese sculptor, Wu Wei-Shan, who is exhibiting the plaster bronze, "Chinese Girl," priced at £10,000. Prices for the other sculptured works range in price from £90 (for David Greenham's plaster sculpture, "Olivia Cohen" 1/6) up to £30,000.
