We are grateful for an e-mail message from Gordon Beal, which was recently sent to us. Here is an extract of what he says, beginning with the meeting-up details, 'Meet Gordon on Sunday 16 May, between 3pm and 3.15pm, at Kennington tube station (Northern Line, Zone 2) near the ticket office.' He later goes on to talk about the Spanish Flamenco group, "Ilusion Flamenca" itself, by saying 'There will be live singing, music and dancing, with many amateur Flamenco dancers present. Although this event is free, there will be a collection to cover such expenses as paying the guitarists and buying them drinks. I suggest an amount of between 1 and 2 pounds. Since Ilusion Flamenca have kindly performed free at my events three times already, it would be good if some of you could support them on this occasion.
If you are going independently, please note
that this event runs from 2 to 7pm. Drinks and food are available at the Finca's usual
prices.' Sounds like fun, so get along for the "juerga, con much marcha" (lively
party)
