DEALERS FROM BELGIUM, FRANCE, HOLLAND, PORTUGAL & UK OFFER WIDE RANGE OF FINE ART & ANTIQUES AT ANNUAL EXHIBITION - FREQUENTED BY CELEBRITIES - AT OLYMPIA EXHIBITION CENTRE

Today is the first - and longest day, with ten hours of viewing time - of the 11-day "Fine Art & Antiques Fair," which has now taken place for more than thirty years. And this year, unlike last year, we learn the fair will also be open on the Monday (i.e. Monday, June 7, 11am-8pm). So, plenty of time to see a wide range of artistic works! According to the promotional brochure we received, over 400 international exhibitors are due to be in attendance. And about these attendees, the online press release we read stated, 'Some of the dealers that will be exhibiting include Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, who will be presenting their collection of unique fabrics; Jonathan Horne, President of the British Antiques Dealers Association; and Lenny Cato, 2003 winner of a British Antiques and Collectables Award. Additionally, internationally renowned dealers MacConnal Mason; Gordon Watson (whose clients include celebrities like Madonna); and Vanderven & Vanderven Oriental Art; amongst others, will also be present at the Fair.' And what countries are the dealers from? 'Exhibitors include dealers from both the UK and Europe (including France, The Netherlands, Portugal and Belgium.'

So, sounds like good European fun, with something for everyone - as prices range from, '£100 or £1million.' The release ends with a historical note, looking back at the same event last year, 'The 2003 fair played host to celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Hurley, Jemima Khan, Joan Collins, Bryan Ferry, Alan Rickman, Jools Holland, Jeremy Irons, Kevin Kline and Sir Bob Geldof amongst others, proving that art and antiques are very much in fashion.' So, go along and enjoy the art, antiques... and possible visits by celebrities!
