PAINTINGS OF CALDEY ISLAND & WALES' PEMBROKESHIRE COAST FEATURE ALONGSIDE CERAMICS AT PHILIP SUTTON'S EXHIBITION, "A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR" AT GALLERY 27

Today is the last day to see artist, Philip Sutton's current exhibition, "A Celebration of Colour," with 35 works of art not including eight ceramics and his original framed drawings - which is on at The Gallery in Cork Street. Caldey Island - the island off Tenby which we visited a number of years ago, features strongly. In the front window, one can appreciate the island in Sutton's, "The Light Clouds are Blown Away" (£17,380). When you enter the gallery, on your right you have "Caldey Island" (£16,280) and hanging on your left is the already-sold, "Spring" (£15,800). Downstairs one can find ceramics, including, "Fruit Bowl" (£1,750) and several pots (£4,500- £5,000).

Prices for his other works range in price from, £1,750 (ceramics) up to £23,650 for the fine, "The Origin of Species." Go along and discover more about the artist, his colourful, detailed and strong-on-all-hues-of-the-colour-blue paintings of Wales and the town, Manobier, where he lives.
