London International Animation Festival ends today at The Other Cinema, a series
of ten animations, celebrating the works of two filmmakers, is being shown at
Hammersmith’s Riverside Studios. The filmmakers are Pjotr Sapegin and recent
Oscar winner, Adam Elliot from Norway and Australia respectively. Mostly of
short duration, the animations range from two minutes up to 74 minutes, in
length. All have been produced in the mid to late nineties, with several being
produced more recently.
They are: Aria (2001,
10m); Brother (1999, 8 mins); Cousin (1998, 4mins); Harvie Krumpett (2003, 23
mins); In a Corner of the World (1999, 2 mins); Model Behaviour (72mins); One
Day a Man Bought a House (1998, 7mins); Snails (1999, 6mins); The Salt Mill
(1998, 5 mins) and Uncle (1996, 6mins). Go for 4pm, pay just £4 admission, and
enjoy them all, including the Oscar-winning short, "Harvie Krumpett" which, we
believe, will be the last to be shown. Enjoy!
