consecutive days over the August bank holiday weekend, to see two films –
directed eight years apart - by the French film director, Patrice Leconte. The
first film of the double bill is "Ridicule" (1996, 102 mins) which tells a story
centred around the Court of Louis XVI. After this, is the more-recent and
slightly longer, "Confidences trop intimes" / Intimate Relations (2004, 104 mins).
It tells the story of a financial advisor, being mistaken for a psychologist.
Both are in French, with
English subtitles.
