INDUCTION WEEK AT "LONDON CENTER COLLEGE" OF BUSINESS STUDIES, COMPUTING, ENGLISH LANGUAGE (EFL & CALLAN METHOD) & INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES, LOCATED IN PENTONVILLE ROAD, KING’S CROSS, LONDON N1
This week marks the
induction week of a new term at London Center College (LCC), located midway
between King’s Cross St Pancras and Angel tube stations. LCC specialises in
Business Studies, Computing, English Language and Internet courses. You are
invited - at anytime, during office hours - to come along and discover more
about what is on offer. We recently went along and met some of the staff. Whilst
we were there, we also discovered that the college runs numerous courses in:
English; Business Studies; Computing OCR1&2; English & Computing OCR1&2;
Business Studies & Computing OCR1&2; Computing OCR3; Internet Technologies 1&2
and Business Studies plus English & Computing OCR1&2. Their Computing Department
also offers courses in Visual Basic & C++ Programming, whilst their Business
Studies Department offers Secretarial and Administration Courses. As for the
English Department, it runs courses for all levels of English speakers, from
Elementary through to Advanced, along with preparatory courses for all Cambridge
examinations (including Preliminary English Test, First Certificate, Advanced,
Proficiency and IELTS).
In addition to English
as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses, there are preparations for teaching English
using the Callan Method ( a Direct Method, with emphasis being placed on
speaking). For a college that claims to have the, ‘Best Teachers’ (who –
incidentally - include London guides and social organisers, when they are not
teaching) and a very good social programme, their prices are excellent! Go along
