SWEDISH SOPRANO, EMILSSON, JOINS LUTENIST, LINDBERG PLUS – ON RECORDER – LAURIN, IN CONCERT FOR SWEDISH INSTITUTE’S “FROM-SWEDEN” FESTIVAL OF MUSIC

Your chance to hear a wide selection of classical music, from the likes of composers such as Roman, Pepusch, Handel, Dowland & Bellman! Swedish soprano, Anna Emilsson, joins Jakob Lindberg (lute) and Dan Laurin (recorder) for a concert, which is just one in the on-going series of concerts for the Swedish Institute’s, “From Sweden” festival of music. In a project managed by Van Walsum Management, the, “From-Sweden,” event (artistic director: Mats Lidström) has been taking place - at various London concert halls, studios and even a jazz club - since late January, and is due to end mid June, with future concerts due to take place at additional venues, such as Westminster Abbey (May 8 2005) and the Swedish Church (May 11 2005). So, go along this evening and start to enjoy some “Svenska” classical and folk culture, if you have not yet done so.
