bells, at Christ’s Chapel, will signify the beginning of this year’s
Dulwich Festival. On the same day, shortly after the pealing of bells
have begun, a debate will take place at the Lindbury Room, within
Dulwich Picture Gallery. The debate - to be chaired by BBC
correspondent, Emily Buchanan – is entitled, “Make Poverty History.”
Tickets are available in advance, from the St Barnabas Church box
office. They cost £10 each and the price includes a post-debate supper.
Note that the box office address is St Barnabas Church, Calton Avenue,
London, SE21. It will be open just two hours (1.15pm to 3.15pm), each
weekday, between May 9 and May 20.
