May 21 2005, Saturday, 8pm-11.20pmMOLDOVA, FOR FIRST TIME, IN EUROVISION’S CHOREOGRAPHED SONG CONTEST (CELEBRATING ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY), TRANSMITTED LIVE, FROM KIEVAnother year,
another contest! The question has to be, can there be another 50 years
of the European choreographed song contest, known as The Eurovision? You
can decide for yourselves! We think there can be, even though, on each
occasion we spend less and less time actually viewing the event. You can
either watch it at home, with Terry Wogan, on BBC1 television or listen
to it, with Ken Bruce, on BBC Radio 2. Whichever, it is definitely
another chance, to – quite frankly – be amazed!
Moldova’s entry
certainly helps the spirit of the event, by getting the granny involved. Our
hopes are on the winning country, whichever it maybe, never having won it
before. This will (a) help keep enthusiasm levels high as well as (b) keep the
Eurovision caravan on the road, visiting countries most of us, as yet, know
little about. Promote YOUR event, for free! | Return to May 2005 ArchivesSubscribe to, "hteL FREE-TO-ATTEND," only £59.80 per annum |
