ISLINGTON CONTEMPORARY ART & DESIGN FAIR,” CONTINUES WITH WEEKEND OF GRAPHICS, ILLUSTRATION, PHOTOGRAPHY & PRINTMAKING BY ARTISTS, ILLUSTRATORS & PHOTOGRAPHERS, INCLUDING (1) MONMOTH-BASED ARTIST, CORBET (2) STOCK NEWINGTON BASED PHOTOGRAPHER OF BRIDGES, SPENCER (3) RYAN’S PHOTOS OF FLOWERS & SHELLS, PLUS… (4) WITH IMAGES OF AUSTRALIA, BRAZIL, CAMBODIA, COLOMBIA, CUBA, HAWAII, INDIA, LAOS, MOZAMBIQUE & NEPAL - KIRKUK-BORN HORNSEY-BASED PHOTOGRAPHER, FLETCHER

Monmoth-based, Richard Corbett is exhibiting works, which have been inspired by composers and writers. Stoke Newington based photographer, Jon Spencer, has produced some interesting photographs / polyptychs of Brent Cross, The Brunswick Centre and Woolwich. He can also tell you one or two interesting stories about one of his photographs. Seamus Ryan is displaying his photographs of bones, flowers and shells. Ryan has also produced a book as well as a series of postcards, which can be purchased. They feature some of his photographed works. Kirkuk-born Hornsey-based photographer, Chris Fletcher is showing a fine selection of international limited-edition gloss prints (£140, or £225 framed). Included are images of Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Cuba, Hawaii, India, Laos, Mozambique and Nepal. Our favourite has to be his India-based, “Ranthambore Tiger.” Whilst we visited the exhibition’s first day we also talked to Oxfordshire-born photographer, Rebecca Taylor. She has images of beaches across the world, from Southend to Sydney. Claudia Feigk, from near Frankfurt, we hear can be commissioned to prepare a variety of art/design/web design works. She has a selection of her painted works on show. Go along and discover more about all these, and more (including works by Gavin Luker) on the exhibition’s last two days.
