October 15 2005, Saturday, 12pm-6pm (continues until October 16 2005, Sunday, 12pm-6pm)“ISLINGTON CONTEMPORARY ART & DESIGN FAIR,” CONTINUES WITH WEEKEND OF GRAPHICS, ILLUSTRATION, PHOTOGRAPHY & PRINTMAKING BY ARTISTS, ILLUSTRATORS & PHOTOGRAPHERS, INCLUDING (1) MONMOTH-BASED ARTIST, CORBET (2) STOCK NEWINGTON BASED PHOTOGRAPHER OF BRIDGES, SPENCER (3) RYAN’S PHOTOS OF FLOWERS & SHELLS, PLUS… (4) WITH IMAGES OF AUSTRALIA, BRAZIL, CAMBODIA, COLOMBIA, CUBA, HAWAII, INDIA, LAOS, MOZAMBIQUE & NEPAL - KIRKUK-BORN HORNSEY-BASED PHOTOGRAPHER, FLETCHERMonmoth-based,
Richard Corbett is exhibiting works, which have been inspired by
composers and writers. Stoke Newington based photographer, Jon Spencer,
has produced some interesting photographs / polyptychs of Brent Cross,
The Brunswick Centre and Woolwich. He can also tell you one or two
interesting stories about one of his photographs. Seamus Ryan is
displaying his photographs of bones, flowers and shells. Ryan has also
produced a book as well as a series of postcards, which can be
purchased. They feature some of his photographed works. Kirkuk-born
Hornsey-based photographer, Chris Fletcher is showing a fine selection
of international limited-edition gloss prints (£140, or £225 framed).
Included are images of Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Cuba,
Hawaii, India, Laos, Mozambique and Nepal. Our favourite has to be his
India-based, “Ranthambore Tiger.” Whilst we visited the exhibition’s
first day we also talked to Oxfordshire-born photographer, Rebecca
Taylor. She has images of beaches across the world, from Southend to
Sydney. Claudia Feigk, from near Frankfurt, we hear can be commissioned
to prepare a variety of art/design/web design works. She has a selection
of her painted works on show. Go along and discover more about all

last two days.
