‘Upper Street
Events the company that organises the Cycle Show has confirmed that the
2005 show will be held at ExCeL, London’s Exhibition and Conference
Centre in the Docklands from the 13th – 16th October [October 13th is
for trade and press only]. The Cycle Show has been held at the Business
Design Centre in Islington, north London for the last three years. In
its inaugural year the show was voted the Best New Exhibition at the
prestigious Event Awards. The Cycle Show has enjoyed considerable year
on year growth and the move to ExCeL is a reflection of this success and
the need to expand for 2005. ExCeL’s greater capacity and accessibility
should offer exhibitors an even better experience and entice even more
visitors. Event Director, Mick Bennett from the Cycle Show commented,
“Moving to ExCeL is great news for the continued growth of the show and
an opportunity for us to offer both the trade and consumers a show that
exceeds their expectations.” The Cycle Show is the UK’s only dedicated
exhibition catering for the whole spectrum of cyclists from commuters,
recreational weekend trippers and tourists to triathletes, road riders,
