LAST FORTNIGHT FOR GIMPEL FILS’ 60TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION - COMPRISING 40+ ARTISTS, INC. SERGIO de CAMARGO, JIM DINE, JULIO GONZALEZ, STEPHEN GONTARSKI, ISAMU NOGUCHI & MIGUEL ORTIZ - ON DAVIES STREET

When Gimpel Fils - started by brothers Peter Gimpel and Charles Gimpel - first opened its gallery doors it was on Duke Street, back in the mid-forties. Between then and now the gallery has moved a couple of times. First, from Duke Street to South Moulton Street then, in 1972, to its current home, in Davies Street. Pass by this fortnight to enjoy the artworks on display. Artists featured include Sergio de Camargo, Jim Dine, Julio Gonzalez, Stephen Gontarski, Isamu Noguchi and Miguel Ortiz.
